The point of harvest is the beginning of a new chain of decisions. Crop maturity, weather, picking method, time before cleaning, drying conditions and storage can all affect the finished material.
The green pepper spikes in the K1 photograph document a harvest observation. They do not establish variety, grade, certification, final processing method or finished-product quality without supporting records.
A useful record links crop and block, harvest date, maturity description, people or team, handling, cleaning, drying or processing, storage and batch identifier. Where certification is claimed, the certificate and validity period must also be linked.
K1 Origins will use these fields in future product records so the story of origin is supported by evidence rather than broad premium language.
