Privacy notice

How website information is handled

Effective 18 July 2026

This notice applies to the K1 Origins website, serving activity connected with Matale, Sri Lanka and Melbourne, Australia.

What we collect

When you submit a contact, product, partnership, estate-visit or Field Notes form, K1 Origins collects the information you choose to provide. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, organisation, preferences and message.

Why we use it

We use submitted information to respond to enquiries, assess requests, coordinate follow-up and—where you explicitly subscribe—send K1 Field Notes. We do not ask for payment-card details through these forms.

Storage and access

Website submissions are stored in the site’s protected management database. Enquiries are internally assigned to the nominated K1 Origins contact without displaying that address publicly. Access is intended for authorised K1 management and coordination purposes.

Sharing and retention

Information may be shared with service providers needed to operate the website or respond to a request, subject to appropriate controls. Records should be retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, legal obligations and legitimate business records.

Your choices

You may ask K1 Origins to correct or delete information, or withdraw a Field Notes subscription, through the contact form. Some records may need to be retained where required by law or legitimate record-keeping needs.

Updates

This notice may change as the service develops. The effective date above identifies the current website version.
